“What happens but once, might as well not have happened at all. If we have only one life to live, we might as well not have lived at all”
Kundera’s “Unbearable Lightness of Being” film by Philip Kaufman is one of the rare cases when book-inspired movie becomes independent and beautiful piece of art.
One of the most joyful discoveries for the last time.
Ben Heine, a talented Belgian artist, has created a series of awesome images by combining photographs with pencil drawings. Enjoy!
Video clip for “Stress”, Jus†ice. One of my favorite directors, Romain Gavras at his best.
Entwined by Gary McParland
“My favourite part of Photography is discovering places that i never knew existed before, sometimes right on your doorstep. And then capturing them just when the light is at its best.”
Amazing piece by Harry Clarke. Distantly reminding the art of Ivan Bilibin, russian illustrator/stage designer.
Some people ingenuity keep shocking me! Alexa Meade paints acrylic on objects, walls and people, creating live installations, which look like painting. You just have to take a look at it… http://www.alexameade.com/

One of my favorite movies, Factory Girl is a story of Edie Sedgwick, known as Andy Warhol’s muse and actress starring at his underground movies. Awesome performances of Guy Pearce as Warhol, Sienna Miller as Edie and Hayden Christensen as Bob Dylan.
I think there’s no other movie which shows these characters so vivid and honest, as well as entire art scene of New York of sixties. I believe, many Andy Warhol fans will deny some facts of this story, but for me it was a real eyeopener and I willingly believe in this true face of Andy Warhol, portrayed as an immature, narcissistic leech, constantly looking for rich people to exploit. Anyway, it’s left for everyone to decide for themselves. You can also read an story line at Wikipedia.
