One of my favorite movies, Factory Girl is a story of Edie Sedgwick, known as Andy Warhol’s muse and actress starring at his underground movies. Awesome performances of Guy Pearce as Warhol, Sienna Miller as Edie and Hayden Christensen as Bob Dylan. I think there’s no other movie which shows these characters so vivid and honest, as well as entire art scene of New York of sixties. I believe, many Andy Warhol fans will deny some facts of this story, but for me it was a real eyeopener and I willingly believe in this true face of Andy Warhol, portrayed as an immature, narcissistic leech, constantly looking for rich people to exploit. Anyway, it’s left for everyone to decide for themselves.
